28 weeks pregnant. (Or maybe 31?) I'm so uncomfortable, that I'm thinking I'm 31 weeks. I didn't get this pain so early on with Sean, that I'm feeling. I'm 100% waddling now. My feet/ankles/fingers are swollen again. I always have a body part (arm or leg) falling asleep (Mackenzie's pressing on some nerve in my body causing the constant "falling asleep" feeling).
Oh.... I'm done being pregnant... let me tell you! Honestly, I'm not sure if I can go through this all over again... I'm starting to question if I'll ever try for a third kid. But if that does happen, it wouldn't even be a thought (let along working on trying) until Mackenzie is at least 2.5/3 years old, so there is plenty of time before then to make up my mind/change my mind.
This morning, Sean decided that he needed to drink from 2 sippy cups. (Not really sure the logic behind this one - but there are a lot of times that I just don't get this kid and the things he does).
Like this for example - why did he feel that he needed to climb over the couch into the little area in the corner of the den (to get himself stuck)?
Or why does he feel he needs to eat Kraft Dinner with TWO forks? One just wasn't enough apparently.
Or why did he feel the need to put Jamie's pj pants (yes, poker pants!) into the toilet in the laundry room?
Today... I just wanted to scream. Really.
Luckily this afternoon we got out of the house for a little while, we picked up my mother and headed to run a few errands. I like all the help I can get these days, and appreciate all the help as well. Besides waddling around, Sean is getting harder and harder to carry/pick-up and well, frankly, so are groceries, parcels, etc. It was nice to have my mom with me while running errands. A few of the errands I ran into the store, while my mother stayed in the car with Sean (also very helpful, and easier to not have him with me).
This evening I made Tacos (was craving it from last week upon seeing a commercial on TV - lol) and then my dad and brother came over to help Jamie put together the crib we're borrowing for Sean's big boy room until he's ready to go into a big boy bed. Sean's asleep in his new room right now, we'll see how tonight goes. It's his first night in his big boy room. I'm crossing my fingers for a good night's sleep. His new crib is set up with Habs sheets and a Habs comforter (GO HABS GO!) and it also came with Habs bumper pad - but he hasn't used bumper pads in months, so since Mackenzie has the sheep set I got (yes sheep! I'm a knitter - duh!) I will be turning the bumper pad into a few things. First, I'd like to use the material with the Habs logo, to make a valance for the curtains in his big boy room, as well as some throw pillows. The only problem right now is that there is no outlet in my sewing room/yarn room, so I will have to figure something out to be able to use my sewing machine. So I will get to that, hopefully soon. (Or probably while I'm nesting! LOL). I have a list of projects that I want to do while nesting. Though, I'm not quite there yet. I do not have the urge to clean yet.
Last night I finished reading The Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot. I do plan on reading The Queen of Babble in the Big City by Meg Cabot next. It's the sequel. I had loaned them both from my sister. There is a third book in the series coming out this June 24th, called The Queen of Babble Gets Hitched. The first book took me a while to get into, but in the end, I liked it. It was a super easy read, and the chapters held my interest. Sometimes characters bother me, when they are "young". By this, I mean no one that I can relate to, etc. Because then I feel that I have nothing in common with the character(s) and find there is no point in reading the book if I can't feel/get attached to the character, especially if it's the main character. But it took me a bit, and I got warmed up to her somewhere in the middle. I definitely will let you know my opinion of the 2nd book, and hopefully this summer I'll get to read the third. If you're looking for an easy/light, chick lit, I definitely suggest checking out The Queen of Babble.
Today was a great mail day. Look out for some new products being listed at Robyn's Nest in the next few days. Some more yarn is getting added to inventory as well as some new and exciting products. I'll keep you posted though. Don't worry! Also don't forget about the 25% off sale on all Regia & OnLine sock yarn, as well as the May Sock Club kits that are listed in the shop.
ps- Who will be my 5000th commenter? I'm not saying how close or far I am from reaching that point, but I just wanted to give a "heads up" that I'll be giving out a prize for the lucky 5000th commenter!
